It’s the Colorado Springs Chorale’s Chefs’ Gala, a great way to sample appetizers, entrees and desserts created by chefs from twenty-three of the Pikes Peak Region’s finest restaurants and caterers, all in one place, at one time.
No other event provides such a great opportunity!
Chefs’ Gala, the “always awesome” (The Colorado Springs Independent)
granddaddy of the Region’s Culinary Competitions has previously been selected by the Gazette’s “GO” as “Best of the Springs, Best Charity Benefit”
and “Best Food-Music Hybrid” by the Independent.
The event, a competition between the best of local chefs
will be judged by a panel of chefs and culinary experts. They will compete for prizes including the chefs™ $1,000 Grand Prize. Guests may show support for their favorite dish by voting for the “People’s Choice” Award.
A feast for all the senses, participants will also be entertained by well-known regional performers, the Broadmoor’s Lila Mori, and The Teske Jazz Quartet. Teresa Farney,
The Gazette Food Editor, will facilitate the presentation of the Chefs’ Awards.
Attendees may also participate in the Silent Auction.
In an exciting twist you’ll be able to bid on silent auction items online
whether or not you attend by going to www.biddingforgoood.com/cschorale
from Monday, February 8 through Thursday, February 19. (Online bids may be carried over to the live event silent auction as the starting bid in some cases).
Special Silver Anniversary Opportunity: Added especially for the 25th anniversary will be an opportunity for guests to participate in drawings for “Surprizes” including:
