DECK THE HALL: It’s the 23rd annual performance of “The Best Way to Celebrate Christmas” (Best of the Springs, The Gazette), The magnificence of the Chorale’s 120 voices will present much loved seasonal favorites ranging from classic to contemporary.  We again present our Christmas pops program voted “Best Way to Celebrate Christmas” by the Gazette, with Special Guests the Brass Ensemble of the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony and narration of “A Musicological Journey Through the Twelve Days of Christmas” by Theatreworks artistic director Murray Ross. It’s the Chorale singing more of the best and most familiar music from choral literature, opera choruses, spirituals, and Broadway; big orchestra and the “big” sound for which we’re famous! Saturday, April 17, Pikes Peak Center ACADEMY BAND SPECTACULAR! It’s back again! Previously, our wildly patriotic and pops performance with the Air force Academy Band has played to packed houses at the Pikes Peak Center and has been seen on regional affiliates of PBS and the major TV networks, to audiences around the world! The Chorale joins the full United States Air Force Academy Concert Band in a performance of “pops” and patriotic music as a highlight of the annual Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce salute to the military.
