The Colorado Springs Chorale celebrated the one-year countdown to their trip to Normandy, France, where they will be the official choir of ceremonies commemorating the 76th anniversary of D-Day, and the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II.

Members of the Chorale performed on the south steps of the Pioneers Museum for a free lunch time concert. Susan Edmondson of the Downtown Partnership and Andy Vick of the Cultural Office spoke.

Performances included:

•    National Anthem
•    Loch Lomond
•    Fair Thee Well Love
•    Tenting Tonight
•    My Lord What a Morning
•    Bound for the Promised Land
•    My Country 'Tis of Thee

Tell us about the impact D-Day has had on you and your loved ones.
