From the sweeping historical impact of the Lutheran Reformation, and the secret rebellion of the Underground Railroad, to the quiet innovations of the human imagination, the Colorado Springs Chorale's 61st season opens with the celebration of revolutions, large and small.  Also featuring the Chamber Singers and an orchestral ensemble, the program will include selected movements from the cantatas of J.S. Bach, Eric Whitacre's creative tour de force Leonardo Dreams of his Flying Machine, vibrant arrangements of traditional African American spirituals, and works by Charles Ives, Claudio Monteverdi, and Carol Barnett.

"Releasing Creativity" by Miranda Teske used by permission.

IN MEMORIAM: This concert is dedicated to the memory of Sylvia Hutson, General Manager of the Chorale, and a singing member for 30 years. Her singing, service, and presence are deeply missed.
